international year of micor crrdit

the year 2005 has been launched as the international year of micro credit with the objective of lending money to individuals or cooperate societies to pay back within an agreed period.
the minister of state for economy planning ,dr samuel ashong who launched the year of microcredit at the united nations develpoment programme head office in ghana specficaally accra said that the cardinal objective of micro credit is to make a postive impact on the lives of poor who can not obtain financail assistances form the formal financail sector.
the UN Secretary General mr KOFI ANNA NOTED THAT micro credit has proved it value in many countries as a weapon against poverty and hunger .
this will help speed the achivement of the MDGS on the set time.well it will empower women who want to earn something but cannot to start selling to gain for it.in it truth sense the micro crdit is loudable and must be used to help develop countries most importantly african countries.

the unthinkable of an election

well it is time for elections in ghana and one will not believe what is happening.just recently the ex-president mr rawlings beat up the district chief executive( DCE) of the bongo district in ghana.the DCE's car was destroyed by supporterS who followed the ex-president.THIS I THINK WAS BECAUSE THE DCE belonged to the npp party in ghana.we are praying for peace in this country as the election draws nearer.

ELECTION IN GHANA

election in ghana has been peaceful dispites the many talks of the things political parties say and do.we will go to the polls in nov/dec to elect our president ,we will either maintain presz kufour or change him this basicaly depends on the people of ghana.all the parties submitted their nomination to the electoral commission on monday.it is now time for the campaigns to begin, people of ghana to their own means have appealed to parties to make their campaigns void of insults and discuss issues that will bring peace.all the religions in the country are praying to God for a peace election.FORM MY DISCUSSION WITH people as ajournalist, some people think this yeary's election will be tough whiles others are of the view that it will go smoothly.
the parties are now arguing on who should use a particular solang.i think that the solang does not matter to the people who will vote, what matters to them is that the country has a peacefully election.
